Namibia secured their place at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 in the West Indies and USA by defeating Tanzania with a convincing 58-run victory in Africa Region Qualifier.
By securing one of the top two positions in the points table of the ongoing qualification tournament, Namibia has proven their prowess in the sport.
This win adds to their unbeaten streak of five consecutive victories in the tournament.
This is the third consecutive time that Namibia has qualified for the T20 World Cup.
A four-way competition has now arisen between Uganda, Kenya, Zimbabwe, and Nigeria for the remaining spot in the World Cup.
The tournament for the 2024 T20 World Cup is set to take place between June 4 and June 30, with participation from 20 countries.
So far 19 countries have qualified for the tournament. The countries that have qualified for the World Cup are ;
