With the Cricket World Cup 2023 just two days away, Sri Lanka will be playing their final warm-up game against Afghanistan on Tuesday in Guwahati.
However, the start of the match has been delayed due to rain.
The match was scheduled to start at 2 p.m., but due to rain, it could not start on time.
This is the second warm-up match that Sri Lanka is playing, and they lost to Bangladesh in the previous warm-up game.

Injury Updates
Meanwhile, Captain Dasun Shanaka is not taking part in today’s warm-up game against Afghanistan due to a strain on his left elbow.
“He is under medical treatment and is in the process of recovery.” Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) said in a statement.
Since he is not available, Kusal Mendis will be the acting captain of the Sri Lankan team in this match.
Meanwhile, SLC further stated that Sri Lanka opener Kusal Perera, who experienced pain on his ‘right shoulder’, during Sri Lanka’s warm-up match against Bangladesh on September 29, is currently under medical treatment and is in the process of recovery.
Meanwhile, spinner Maheesh Theekshana will join the Sri Lanka squad on October 4.
He did not travel with the team to India on September 26 due to the injury he suffered in the Asia Cup.
