New Zealand all-rounder Mitchell Santner will miss Sunday’s team flight to Ireland after testing positive for Covid-19.
“Santner’s departure will be delayed until later in the week once he has recovered and tests negative.” New Zealand Cricket said in an official release.
The Blackcaps all-rounder will aim to link up with the ODI squad ahead of the three-game series which begins in Malahide on July 1, before taking over as captain the T20 team for series against Ireland, Scotland and the Netherlands.
