Pakistan women’s cricket team won the third and final T20I by 4 wickets and sweeping the T20I series 3-0 over Sri Lanka.
Sri Lanka batted first after winning the toss, they scored 107 runs for the loss of 8 wickets at the end of 20 overs.
Chamari Atapattu and Hasini Perera put on 69 runs for the first wicket in 11.1 overs.
Hasini was dismissed for 24 runs. Then Sri Lanka’s first seven wickets fell short of 14 runs.
Anushka Sanjeewani was unbeaten on 14 and Sugandika Kumari scored 10 runs.
Tuba Hassan, Kainat Imtiaz and Nida Dar took one wicket each while five Sri Lankan batters were run-out by the Pakistanis.
In reply, Pakistan secured the victory in the last ball of the match.
Muneeba Ali scored 25 runs and Aliya Riaz scored 17 runs. Skipper Bisma Maroof scored an unbeaten 15 to lead his team to victory in the final ball.
Oshadi Ranasinghe took 3 wickets for 18 runs while Kavisha Dilhari took 2 wickets for 28 runs. Sugandika Kumari took one wicket in her 4 overs and gave only 13 runs to the opposition.
