The International Cricket Council (ICC) today (25) released the latest Test cricket player rankings.
According to the performance of the players in the Bangladesh-Sri Lanka first Test match, there have been several changes in the rankings of the players.
There are no changes in the top 10 of the player rankings.
Bangladesh player Liton Das , who scored 88 in the first innings, have moved up three places to 17th in the batting rankings.
Mushfiqur Rahim, who scored a century in the first innings, has moved up four places to 25th, while Tamim has gained six places to reach 27th position following his innings of 133.
Sri Lanka middle order batsman Angelo Mathews, who was dismissed for 199 in the first Test, has lifted five places to 21st among batters.
With a half century in the second innings, Sri Lanka captain Dimuth Karunaratne has further secured the 6th position in the world rankings.
Kusal Mendis (up four places to 49th) and Dinesh Chandimal (up six places to 53rd) have also gained following useful knocks in both innings.
Meanwhile, Naeem Hasan, who took six wickets in the first innings, has moved up nine places to 53rd in the bowling rankings.
Sri Lanka fast bowler Kasun Rajitha, who took 4 wickets, has moved up 14 places to 61st position in the rankings.
