The International Cricket Council today announced the appointments for Round One matches and the Super 12 phase of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021, comprising 20 of the best match officials from around the world.
This year’s T20 World Cup will be held from 17 October to 14 November in Muscat (Oman), Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and Dubai (UAE).
The 16 umpires and four match referees finalised for the 45-match tournament.
David Boon, Jeff Crowe, Ranjan Madugalle, and Javagal Srinath have been appointed as the match referees.
The first match of the tournament will be played between Oman and Papua New Guinea.
Sri Lanka’s Kumar Dharmasena will be in the middle for the first match of the tournament alongside New Zealander Chris Gaffaney.
