The International Cricket Council (ICC) Board has elected Imran Khwaja, the 64-year-old lawyer from Singapore, as Deputy chairman.
He beat Ricky Skerritt of the West Indies by narrowest possible margin – by one vote (9-8).
Khwaja, who is an Associate Member Director, was first elected to the ICC Board in 2008 and has served as Deputy Chair since 2017.
