Sports Minister Namal Rajapaksa today(27) met Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) officials to discuss the current status of Cricket in the country.
National Sports Council chairman, former Sri Lanka cricket captain Mahela Jayawardena also participated in the meeting.
Following five decisions were taken in the meeting.
Appoint a new selection committee.
Competitive domestic & provincial tournaments.
Priority for Discipline & fitness.
Performance based contracts.
Director & Mentor to assist head coach
Concluded meeting with officials of @OfficialSLC, @MoYS_SriLanka, NSC & National Coach.
