Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has officially announced the venue for the One Day International (ODI) match of Australia’s tour of Sri Lanka in 2025.
The ODI will be played at the Mahinda Rajapaksa International Cricket Stadium (MRICS) in Hambantota on February 13, 2025.

Australia’s 2025 tour of Sri Lanka features a compact schedule comprising two Test matches followed by a single ODI. The Test matches will be hosted at the Galle International Cricket Stadium (GICS) in Galle, while the ODI will take place at the MRICS in Hambantota.
SLC clarified in its press release that the ODI venue had not been finalized when the initial schedule was announced. The confirmation of Hambantota as the venue brings clarity for fans and organizers as preparations for the tour ramp up.
