The International Cricket Council (ICC) has officially announced the schedule for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, set to take place over 19 days from February 19 to March 9, 2025.
The ninth edition of the prestigious tournament will feature eight teams competing in 15 matches across Pakistan and Dubai.
Tournament Venues and Format
Matches in Pakistan will be hosted in Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi, while Dubai will serve as the neutral venue for India’s matches.
Lahore will host the second semi-final and the final, unless India qualifies for the final, in which case it will be moved to Dubai. Both semi-finals and the final will have reserve days.
Opening Match and Key Fixtures
The tournament opener will feature hosts Pakistan taking on New Zealand in Karachi on February 19.
India’s campaign begins a day later in Dubai against Bangladesh. One of the most anticipated fixtures, the Pakistan-India clash, is scheduled for February 23 in Dubai.
Group B action kicks off with Afghanistan facing South Africa in Karachi on February 21. Cricket fans can also look forward to a blockbuster match between England and Australia in Lahore on February 22.
