Bangladesh Cricket Board on Thursday (12) announced their 16-player Test squad for the upcoming tour of India.
There’s only one change to the Test squad with uncapped keeper-batter Jaker Ali replacing injured fast bowler Shoriful Islam
Shoriful is still recovering from the groin injury he picked up in the first Test against Pakistan. Due to this injury, he did not play the second Test.
The first Test between India and Bangladesh begins on September 19 in Chennai and concludes in Kanpur from September 27. Both Tests are part of the ongoing World Test Championship cycle (2023-25).
