Sri Lanka Cricket Team Manager and Chief Selector Asantha de Mel has announced he will step down from his post as the team’s manager after the second Test against England.
According to the Daily News, de Mel said he had taken over the position of team manager on a temporary basis.
“I will be resigning from the team manager’s post from the end of this two-match Test series against England due to personal reasons. I took this post of team manager on a temporary basis.” he said.
