Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has announced the Nepal men’s squad for the upcoming Asia Cup 2023 to be played from 30th August to 17th September 2023 in Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
Rohit Paudel will lead the 17-member squad. Uncapped offspinner Mousom Dhakal has been called up to Nepal’s squad. The squad also includes the batter Sundeep Jora.
“The Nepal team will go through a week-long preparation camp in Pakistan, where the team will train and play matches against PCB-designated teams.” a CAN release said.
The tournament, which will be played in fifty-overs format, will kick off in Multan with Pakistan taking on Nepal on August 30.
The 16th edition of the tournament has six teams divided into two groups. Pakistan, India and Nepal are in Group A while Bangladesh, Afghanistan and Sri Lanka are in Group B.
