Nine matches in the upcoming ICC ODI Cricket World Cup 2023 have been rescheduled, the International Cricket Council (ICC) confirmed on wednesday (August 9).
The highly anticipated fixture between India and Pakistan in Ahmedabad will now be played on October 14 instead of October 15.
As a result, England’s fixture against Afghanistan will be moved from October 14 and will now be played on October 15.
The Pakistan-Sri Lanka game in Hyderabad has moved from October 12 to now being played on October 10 and Australia’s contest against South Africa in Lucknow will now be played on October 12 instead of October 13.
Bangladesh’s game against New Zealand originally scheduled as a day match for October 14 has been moved back and will now be held on October 13 and be played as a day-night contest.
England’s clash against Bangladesh on October 10 has been changed from day-night fixture to a day game.
The double-header scheduled for November 12 – Australia vs Bangladesh (10:30AM) and England vs Pakistan (02:00PM)- will now be played on November 11, while the India-Netherlands game has now been shifted from November 11 to November 12 .
