Rajasthan Royals have been fined for maintaining a slow over-rate during their Indian Premier League (IPL) match against Chennai Super Kings at Chepauk, Chennai on Wednesday, IPL organizers said on Thursday (13).
“As it was the team’s first offence of the season under the IPL’s Code of Conduct relating to minimum over-rate offences, captain Sanju Samson was fined Rs 12 lakhs.” IPL organizers said in an official release.
In this match, CSK lost to RR by 3 runs in the last ball.
