Chennai Super Kings’ Sri Lankan recruits Maheesh Theekshana and Matheesha Pathirana will join the CSK squad on April 10.
Accordingly, the Chennai team will be able to consider both of them for the selections for the match to be held against the Rajasthan Royals on April 12.
5 Sri Lankan players are playing for IPL 2023. Among them, only Bhanuka Rajapaksa was with the Punjab Kings squad from the beginning of the tournament.
Right-arm leg spinner Wanindu Hasaranga, who represents the Royal Challengers Bangalore, is also scheduled to join the RCB squad on April 10.
