SLC Media Release

The Sri Lanka Cricket Selection Committee selected the following Sri Lanka Women’s Squad to take part in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2023, which will be held in South Africa.

The Honorable Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs, Roshan Ranasinghe, approved the squad.

1.) Chamari Athapaththu, Captain
2.) Oshadi Ranasinghe
3.) Harshitha Samarawickrama
4.) Hasini Perera (will not tour as she has suffered an injury to one of her fingers while practicing)
5.) Nilakshi de Silva
6.) Kavisha Dilhari
7.) Anushka Sanjeewani
8.) Kaushini Nuthyangana
9.) Malsha Shehani
10.) Inoka Ranaweera
11.) Sugandika Kumari
12.) Achini Kulasuriya
13.) Vishmi Gunaratne
14.) Tharika Sewwandi
15.) Ama Kanchana

* Sathya Sandeepani (replacement for Hasini Perera)
