Afghanistan Cricket Board today (16) announced its 17-member squad for the ACC Men’s T20 Asia Cup 2022.
The side will be led by Mohammad Nabi, with Najibullah Zadran as his deputy.
Samiullah Shinwari has replaced Sharafuddin Ashraf, who is now part of the reserve players for the event, along with Qais Ahmad and Nijat Masoud.
The left-arm wrist-spinner Noor Ahmad, who was replaced by Mujeeb Ur Rahman for the Ireland series, has also found his way to the side.
T20 Asia Cup 2022 will be played from 27th August to 11th September in the United Arab Emirates.
