Proteas fast bowler Duanne Olivier has been ruled out the three match Test series against England due to a grade 2 right hip flexor muscle tear, Cricket South Africa announced on Sunday, 14.
The injury occurred during South Africa’s four-day tour game against the England Lions.
South Africa have not named a replacement for him while he returns home to begin rehabilitation.
The first match of the Test series is scheduled to begin on August 17 at Lord’s in London.
